Zoe Pate

Over fifteen years' experience in the third sector in fundraising, Zoe has experience from working at mental health, health and anti-poverty charities and in her current role at Trussell Zoe is deeply motivated by her values and her desire to see a UK without the need for food banks. At Trussell, Zoe oversees income generation, focused on inspiring donors to engage and support the work of Trussell and their community of food banks. With some brilliant multi-faceted partnerships with leading supermarkets such as their award-winning Tesco partnership, Waitrose, Asda and Morrisons, which provide both vital income and food stock to support to Trussell's community of food banks throughout the UK. The team also lead on partnerships with PPL, Barclays, The Julia Rausing Trust, Moondance and The Oak Foundation to name a few. Through Covid and the cost of living crisis, Trussell have seen the need for food banks double in the past 5 years, as more people facing hunger and hardship have needed to turn to a food bank for support for the first time. Individuals, businesses and trusts are helping to fuel the work of Trussell and their community of food banks, to be a beacon of hope and support in communities throughout the UK and to call for change, as they work towards a future where no one needs to turn to a food bank to survive.
