Michael Duncan

Michael heads up NatWest Group's global community investment and giving strategy and is a member of the bank's Group Sustainability Leadership Team. He is passionate about driving positive societal outcomes through the bank's activities and supporting colleagues and customers to give back to the causes they care about. He has spent most of his career at NatWest Group with roles in retail banking, internal audit, management support to the CEO and establishing the programme office to manage change in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis.He has also worked in local government finance, for a children's charity, and spent time teaching in Zimbabwe. He has a Finance degree from Loughborough University Business School, is a Certificated Member of the Chartered Banker Institute and has served as a trustee on the board of  several charities.
