Working together for an amazing cause: Posturite partners with the Stroke Association

One of Chris Jones’ first actions as Posturite’s new Managing Director in January 2023 was to engage everyone in the company in a bold plan to get together to raise at least £25,000 for the Stroke Association every year for 2 years. It would be our first ever official charity partnership. With 167 employees based all over the UK, it didn’t prove too much of a challenge to engage the whole team to support stroke survivors. We chose a charity which shares our interests in good health and the wellbeing of people with disabilities. Now over £30,000 has been raised for the Stroke Association and huge enthusiasm generated. 2023 charitable donations were 4,944% higher than in 2020. Partnerships Manager at the Stroke Association said: “Posturite employees truly are our heroes. In a survey, 100% of Posturite staff said they felt proud that Posturite was supporting us and this has certainly been borne out by the enthusiasm which we have seen in spades. I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing first-hand the passion they’ve displayed on their cycling challenges and at social fundraising events. We’re especially grateful to the Posturite staff who have volunteered to talk to stroke survivors on the phone.”
