MONY Group is a tech-led savings platform, driven by a clear purpose of helping households save money. Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is a suicide prevention charity, driven by a clear purpose of saving lives. Together, they’ve created a life-saving, industry-leading, strategic partnership, tackling the tragic link between financial hardship and suicidality.

The partnership has three key areas: education; awareness through collaboration and fundraising. CALM has educated MONY Group staff on suicide and suicide prevention; together they’ve collaborated on two campaigns, Money Talks, and Money Talks: The Youth Tax; and MONY Group have raised £405,192 for CALM’s life-saving services - enough to answer 33,212 calls on their suicide prevention helpline.

The partnership is regularly cited in staff feedback as what makes employees proud to work there, and in the words of one employee: ‘’after a challenging few years - I can honestly say this partnership has completely changed my life. In fact it has probably saved it.’’ Another colleague was asked for three words to sum up the partnership. They said ‘’Saved. My. Friend.’’
