Corps and Combat Stress have created a very special partnership. One that’s based on a deep-rooted commitment to supporting those who have served in the British Armed forces. Combat Stress are the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health, who help support our ex-service men and women deal with trauma and PTSD. Tour de Corps is a countrywide cycling ‘tour’ of all Corps Security offices starting in Glasgow and concluding in London. The mammoth cycling challenge covered 750 miles over seven days, navigating the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, and the Brecon Beacons, and a range of weather conditions – including snow! Corps team of diehard cyclists were joined by special guests along the way, who chose to complete whichever stretch of route they liked, making the event inclusive for everyone, whatever their ability and availability. This included suppliers and partner companies as well as colleagues from across Corps business. The challenge smashed its initial target of £5,000 generating more than £11,000 of much needed funds for Combat Stress which will be used to provide life changing, and in some cases lifesaving, rehabilitation services.
