Since its launch, The Screwfix Foundation has been on a mission to repair, maintain, and transform community spaces and facilities for those who need them most. Powered by the passion of Screwfix colleagues and the generosity of customers, it’s turned small acts of giving into big waves of change.
2025 was a landmark year. The Foundation raised £15 million, supported over 3,000 local projects, improved the lives of more than 1.5 million people, extended into the Republic of Ireland and launched its new partnership with Hospice UK. From essential repairs to accessibility upgrades, it’s created safe, welcoming spaces where communities can thrive. And this is made possible thanks to incredible colleague efforts like it’s recent SF500 challenge, which raised over £200,000 through colleague movement!
What’s more, the Foundation was early adopters of Pennies, the micro-donation platform, raising millions through Screwfix.com and impacting hundreds of charities in need.
One of its proudest partnerships is with Volunteer It Yourself (VIY), giving young people hands-on trade experience while revitalising community hubs that have a lasting impact.
And they are just getting started, building stronger communities, one project at a time.
