The theme of the charities Telefónica Tech support is to help the most disadvantaged in society, such as homelessness, abuse and poverty. We have actively been supporting Embrace Child Victims Of Crime for over 2 years. Embrace is the only national charity that is solely focused on supporting children and young people who have been the victims of serious crime and their immediate families. Children are among the most vulnerable victims in our communities.

Embrace Trustee and Ambassador Rhys Dickinson is a survivor of childhood sexual abuse.

He has spoken out about why it is important young people speak out if they have been affected by these crimes. Through the remarkable charity Embrace, Rhys shows other young victims of crime what can be achieved in life, even after suffering unimaginable trauma. He has spoken about why it is important young people speak out if they have been affected by these crimes using his experiences of childhood trauma to encourage others to speak out and raise awareness of support out there.

All our fundraising and raising awareness efforts help Embrace focus on working to develop a specialist counselling service that young people can access.
