Premier Inn and Restaurants (Whitbread) x Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity partnership raises £10 million to help build the Children's Cancer Centre

Premier Inn and Restaurants (Whitbread)

Client: Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity

Since 2012, Premier Inn and Restaurants (Whitbread) and GOSH Charity partnership have had a transformational impact for the thousands of children treated at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) every year.

The first chapter of the partnership launched with the ambition to raise £7.5 million towards the much-needed Premier Inn Clinical Building. Through united efforts from Whitbread teams, Premier Inn and Restaurant guests and suppliers, they achieved their target and the doors to the Premier Inn Clinical Building opened a mere five years later in January 2018.

By June 2021, Premier Inn and Restaurant teams raised an additional £10 million towards the development of a new Sight and Sound Centre; the first dedicated facility for children with sight and hearing loss in the UK.

Premier Inn and Restaurants’ devoted teams are the foundations of this monumental partnership and are currently supporting GOSH Charity’s biggest capital appeal, to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre. The partnership celebrated reaching £10 million raised for the Children’s Cancer Centre in September 2025, marking the halfway point in their generous £20 million pledge with the vision to transform children’s cancer care at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
