NatWest Thrive

Client: National Youth Agency

NatWest and the National Youth Agency (NYA) formed their partnership in 2023 with a shared commitment to ensure every young person, regardless of background or circumstance, has the confidence, skills and self‑belief to shape their future. Together we created NatWest Thrive, a programme responding to the reality that many young people feel financially insecure and lack access to practical, relatable financial education.

Co‑designed with youth workers and young people, NatWest Thrive is inclusive and grounded in lived experience. Delivered in trusted community spaces, it blends mindset, motivation and essential money skills with credible role models to help young people build confidence from the inside out.

Impact is independently and rigorously measured. In 2025, the majority of participants reported increased financial understanding, greater confidence and a stronger sense of control over their future. The programme’s long‑term outcomes continue to deepen, demonstrating meaningful shifts in both attitudes and financial behaviours.

Beyond direct delivery, NatWest has committed to strengthen the youth‑work profession, providing £5m apprenticeship levy funding over six years to expand sector capacity and improve support in underserved communities.

Together, NatWest and the NYA are creating equitable access to financial confidence, empowering thousands of young people to build the futures they deserve.
