Launched in 2024, and delivering Nationwide’s commitment to donate at least 1% of its pre tax profit to good causes, Nationwide Fairer Futures unites strategic investment, skills and influence to deliver meaningful and measurable social change.
By March 2027, Nationwide Fairer Futures will have supported 200,000 people to build a fairer future. It has already reached over 108,000 individuals, including 2,417 homeless young people, 65,577 children and families in hardship and 40,354 people affected by dementia. Fairer Futures has also funded 34 specialist research staff at The Royal Marsden working across more than 120 cancer trials.
Through the funding and delivery of transformational programmes, extensive colleague involvement, successful policy influence and sector leading innovations, this unique approach strengthens each charity, deepens Nationwide’s social purpose and crucially improves the lives of the people and communities who need support the most.
