Client: Good Things Foundation

Our research shows 85% of low-income Brits say connectivity is essential for living their lives. Yet around 1.7 million homes remain without internet connectivity, unable to carry out essential online tasks. In partnership with Good Things Foundation, we are committed to tackling data poverty, with a cross-industry solution to drive real change.

Indeed, together we launched the UK's first ever National Databank at the end of 2021 - like a food bank but for free mobile data, donating over 61 million GB of free data to those in need. Our pledge: to lift over 500,000 people out of digital poverty by the end of 2025. Since then, we have strengthened our work with Good Things Foundation by announcing in 2022 a new strategic partnership, including a £2 million donation and targeted initiatives. We have extended our support to the Databank through additional data donations, a national Christmas campaign and by rallying more mobile operators in our industry behind the project to drive standards up at scale.
