Marie Curie, Superdrug and Savers

Superdrug and Savers

Client: Marie Curie

Superdrug and Savers, two of the UK’s leading retailers, have been in partnership with Marie Curie, the UK’s leading end of life charity, since 2013. The partnership sits at the heart of the retailers’ CSR agenda, ‘Doing Good Feels Super’ and is driven by a shared mission to change how we experience, talk about and support end of life.

Through shared values and KPIs, the partnership delivers transformative support for people affected by terminal illness. 2025 was our strongest year yet, raising £2.5 million and reaching exceptional levels of colleague engagement. To date, the partnership has raised over £16.5 million, funding over 717,000 hours of Marie Curie nursing care for families across the UK.

The partnership’s impact is felt not only through fundraising milestones, but through the families it helps to support. Ben’s mum, Rachael, received Marie Curie nursing care at the end of her life. He reflects on what this partnership makes possible: dignity, comfort and support when it matters most. “For Marie Curie to come in and give mum her dignity back and let me be her son again, that meant the world. It meant that all the family could be with her and just be her family”.
