Marks and Spencer

Agency: Charity partner: Breast Cancer Now

For 20 years, Breast Cancer Now and Marks and Spencer (M&S) have worked together to create a future where we don't lose another person to breast cancer and everyone diagnosed will live and live well. Over the decades, we've developed a sector leading partnership, that focuses on; preventing breast cancer, supporting women to reduce their risks of developing the disease and our joint ambition to make positive changes for people affected by breast cancer.

We've united to deliver products with meaningful purpose, combining M&S incredible bra design knowledge and Breast Cancer Now's insight of breast cancer treatment, to re-develop and implement a new range of post-surgery bras. It doesn't stop there either M&S colleagues have worked tirelessly alongside Breast Cancer Now to raise awareness of the importance of breast checking amongst colleagues and customers, contributing to a 47% increase of breast health knowledge.

In the past five years, M&S has donated over £13 million through colleague fundraising, Sparks loyalty scheme donations and product sale donations, and these funds have enabled over 330,000 hours of vital research, making M&S the biggest contributor in the UK to breast cancer prevention research. Simply put, our partnership is changing the future of breast cancer.
