Costco Wholesale UK and Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity

Costco Wholesale UK

Client: Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity

For six years, Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity) and Costco Wholesale UK have built a high-performing, long-term corporate partnership. This partnership supports the £300m appeal for the new, world-leading Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). As our first Founder Partner, Costco Wholesale UK invested early on to build momentum behind the appeal and help turn our vision into reality.

Since 2021, the partnership has raised £2.35m, including £680,000 during the 2025/26 financial year - a 41% increase in fundraising from the previous year. With 29 warehouses, 9,000 employees and 7.2 million members, Costco has embedded fundraising and awareness activity throughout its national operations. From payroll giving and seasonal fundraising activities to supplier engagement and in-store storytelling, colleagues and members are united in supporting children with cancer.

Together, we’re driving meaningful change by helping to fund the development of the Children’s Cancer Centre at GOSH – a place that will transform children’s cancer care. In June 2025, construction officially began on the new centre, marking a major milestone in the appeal.

Our partnership demonstrates the power of strong employee engagement, national reach and shared commitment to improving the lives of children and families across the UK.
