Closing the Confidence Gap: Stats Perform x Seable

Stats Perform

Client: Seable

For many blind and partially sighted people, adventure can feel out of reach. Skiing, mountain trails and open water diving are often seen as experiences for “other people.”

In 2023, Stats Perform, a global sports technology company built on performance and innovation, partnered with Seable, an award-winning social enterprise specialising in accessible, multi-sensory active travel. Together, they set out to address a persistent inequality: adventure is often inaccessible not because of ability, but because infrastructure and support are not designed in.

Designed as long-term collaboration rather than sponsorship, the partnership combines sustained funding with hands-on employee volunteering. Stats Perform trains employees as sighted chaperones who travel alongside guests as trusted guides and teammates, embedding inclusion into lived experience.

From 2023 to 2026, the partnership delivered nine fully supported international trips, provided £45,000 in funding, supported 60 visually impaired travellers and generated over 660 volunteer hours. Forty percent of participants were first-time travellers, and 100 percent travelling abroad or independently for the first time reported increased confidence and independence.

Multi-year backing enabled Seable to expand safely across new UK and EU destinations. Together, the partnership demonstrates that when accessibility is intentionally designed in, adventure becomes possible for all.
