phs Group is the leading hygiene services provider in the UK, Ireland and Spain. We partnered with Prostate Cancer UK to bring male incontinence bins to men’s washrooms. 1 in 8 men over 40 are at risk of prostate cancer rising to 1 in 4 for black men and the demographic at phs is primarily older men – 73% identify as male and the average age is 44 – which is an ideal group to be raising awareness of prostate cancer to. phs celebrated its 60th birthday in 2023 and as part of the celebrations raised funds for Prostate Cancer UK before officially becoming a formal partner of the charity in December. We’ve never had an official charity partner before instead choosing an approach that matches fundraising our people do for causes they care about. However, with the work Prostate Cancer UK do being aligned to our purpose of putting people at the heart of our products and services, we made the commitment to have both. We’ve donated over £95,600 to Prostate Cancer UK, our engagement scores for supporting charity increase by 6 points and get over 6000 bins into men’s washrooms for the first time ever, in just
