Angela Alabi

Angela is Head of Governance and Board Secretary for CITB, which is the industry training board for the construction sector in England, Scotland and Wales. CITB is focused on supporting the construction industry to have a skilled, competent and inclusive workforce. Angela is a charity and academy governance specialist, speaker, coach, parent and school champion and a school exclusions specialist. She is the recent founder of the Charity Governance Network, a forum for those with an interest in charity governance. Angela is also the recent founder of the School Exclusions Advocacy Service (SEAS). Angela is a former trustee of a large religious charity and a former trustee of a mental health charity. She was a Magistrate for 12 years and is currently a School Governor of two schools (a primary school and a secondary school).
