Working Together to Connect Children to Nature

Aldi and RSPB

 

Aldi’s partnership with the RSPB encourages young people to get into nature and build their understanding and love of the great outdoors.

Following research which highlighted the decline in British children spending time outdoors, the RSPB built on its experience working with children to create a programme connecting them with nature and helping to bring nature into their lives. With the support of Aldi, the ‘Connection to Nature’ partnership was developed.

The scheme is funded solely by donations from carrier-bag sales in Aldi’s UK stores. By 2019, the programme aims to provide experiences for over 500,000 children across Britain.
