Wimbledon Foundation

The Wimbledon Foundation is the charity of the All England Lawn Tennis Club and The Championships. Established in 2013, its mission is to use the resources and heritage of Wimbledon to help change people’s lives.
The Foundation gives more than £1.8 million a year to support charities in line with its four goals: strengthening the local community, supporting healthy and active lives, developing young people and helping those in need.
To mark its fifth anniversary in 2019 and the completion of the No.1 Court roof, the Wimbledon Foundation launched a new fund for the homeless. ‘A Roof for All’ is supporting five homelessness charities operating in Merton and Wandsworth with core funding over three years in order to increase their capacity to address this growing social need.
The Foundation strives to use the resources of Wimbledon to support the charity sector in a variety of ways. Donating camping items left in the Queue to a homeless shelter, involving Official Partners in running skills workshops for charities or offering bespoke visits to community groups are just some of the ways the Foundation uses the strength of the Wimbledon brand and all its resources to help those who really need it.
