The Patron Armed Forces Initiative

Patron Capital and The Royal Marine's Charity

Established in 2010, the Patron Armed Forces Initiative helps those whose life prospects have been impaired due to their military service achieve their potential. The initiative is executed through an ongoing partnership between Patron Capital and The Royal Marines Charity (RMC). A particular focus for the initiative is to help benefactors of the RMC transition into new and fulfilling careers. Additionally, Patron works with Rock2Recovery - an RMC subsidiary - and the RMC to support those suffering from mental health issues following military service.
Patron makes all its resources as a successful commercial business available to the RMC, offering up everything from its office space to its business contacts and expertise. By organising mentorship programmes, work experience placements, speaking opportunities and internships, as well as offering advice on business plans and curating bespoke careers workshops, Patron offers direct support to former service men and women in their transition into the civilian work environment.
Since 2010, the value of Patron's contributions to the RMC, including fundraising efforts and in-kind donations, exceeds £2m.
Through its immersive involvement with the RMC, Patron has made a real difference and is able to reap the greatest rewards for all concerned.
