Ending youth homelessness with Centrepoint

The Co-operative Bank and Centrepoint UK

The Co-operative Bank's partnership with Centrepoint launched in 2017 as the charity was establishing their services for homeless young people in the Bank's hometown of Manchester. Having defined an ambition to tackle poverty by enabling communities to help themselves, the partnership with Centrepoint recognises the amazing work they do to give homeless young people the skills and support needed to become independent. The partnership has allowed us to work together on landmark events such as Centrepoint's Manchester Sleep Out and has helped the charity realise its ambition of providing a national Helpline for young people experiencing homelessness - an initiative that supported 4,404 young people in 2018.

Now in its second year, the partnership has grown and developed thanks to the opportunities we've created to work together and share skills and experiences. Our fundraising total has reached the landmark £1 million and we're looking forward to continuing to build on this relationship in 2019.
