Domino’s and Teenage Cancer Trust are celebrating having raised over £1million for young people with cancer, thanks to customers, colleagues and franchisees. This inclusive, multi-faceted partnership is #DeliveringGreatness all over the UK and is driven by Domino’s vision of the Power of the Possible.
With clear objectives, an obvious brand synergy, commitment and teenage spirit at its heart, the partnership has exceeded all expectations and met its original fundraising target 10 months early.
Key highlights include; regular pizza parties on Teenage Cancer Trust hospital units, inspiring over 3.6million customers to donate online via Pennies (the digital charity box), raising over £200,000 in one week via a TV-led CRM campaign, and sponsorship of the charity’s flagship Royal Albert Hall fundraising gigs, reaching over 161million people.
As Teenage Cancer Trust’s largest partner, Domino’s have made an incredible contribution to the charity’s mission of reaching every young person with cancer by 2020. It has also inspired a new fundraising strategy around online customer donations. As well as substantial PR and social media engagement, Domino’s have seen improvements in their colleague and franchisee engagement levels, prompting a decision to extend the partnership and work towards a £2million target.
Together, we’ve created a legendary partnership!
