A strategic partnership with national charity Global’s Make Some Noise has resulted in the donation of over £200,000 since 2016. The partnership has provided sustainability and tangible impact to small charities all over the UK, helping to change the lives of disadvantaged children, young people and their families. The collaboration has seen support from every member of the over 1500 CarShop colleagues, either through individual/team fundraising events, education session attendance or volunteering opportunities.
Now into its fourth year, the relationship continues to go from strength to strength and has further demonstrated its longevity that deserves industry recognition for what CarShop believes to be the best charity programme in the business. Not only does the partnership continually deliver opportunities for colleague engagement, but offers customers and communities connection through education, fundraising and volunteering. PR generated by events has provided vital awareness for small UK charities. Partnering with Global’s Make Some Noise has allowed for scale, maximising the initiative’s reach and impact, due to the fact that each year they support a variety of small UK projects. This has allowed CarShop to think big, act local, be agile and help those in need.
