Cambridge LaunchPad

Marshall ADG, Arm, TTP, Schlumberger & supporting organisations and Cambridge LaunchPad

Cambridge LaunchPad is a growing partnership between inspiring companies in the Cambridge area, managed by Form the Future CIC, to deliver a programme of hands-on activities to show young people that Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) is for all, whatever your background.

Twenty-nine contributors, led by STEM organisations, working with schools, invest their talent and resources to inspire young people into STEM careers. The programme provides students aged 8 to 18 with experiences and opportunities and is designed to address the diversity issues which exist in STEM employment. The programme raises aspirations and shows young people the wide variety of careers that are available in STEM industries. It shows how what they learn in school is relevant to the world of work and makes it exciting and fun.
Our industry and school partners are at the heart of the programme. By building bridges between education and employment, we can support the growing demand for a skilled workforce in the Greater Cambridge region. Activities are delivered through Project Days which take place on company premises throughout the school year and involve employees who supervise the projects and act as Ambassadors and role models.
Cambridge Launchpad can change children's lives!
