'B Active', by Lucozade Ribena Suntory (LRS) and Active Communities Network (ACN) is a development programme improving the lives and prospects of young people aged 16-24 through sport and physical activity.
Offering sessions in a range of physical activities, B Active runs five days a week, 50 weeks of the year throughout areas of Britain where levels of social deprivation are high.
B Active provides participants with the opportunity to develop through a range of vocational courses, so far awarding more than 1,000 young adults with accreditation, a third of whom have gone on to secure employment.
Surpassing its annual target in just six months, B Active is positively impacting society by providing thousands of young people with the motivation and skills they need to achieve their aspirations. This forms part of LRS's and ACN's shared ambition of inspiring young people through sport.
