Warm Homes

e.on and Age UK

Age UK and e.on’s Warm Homes programme was established in 2011 to support the older people most vulnerable to fuel poverty and cold-related deaths across the UK. It is Age UK’s largest and longest-standing strategic partnership and has so far helped 135,370 older people since its conception.

We have identified a staggering £234.4 million in unclaimed benefits and installed 166,820 items of energy efficient equipment, helping thousands of the most vulnerable older people in the UK to feel more financially secure and be warm and well in their own homes.

It simply made sense for Age UK, the leading charity for older people, and e.on, a market-leading energy supplier, to join forces and work together to tackle the root causes of fuel poverty and cold-related suffering amongst older people in the UK.

Now in its ninth year the Warm Homes Programme is going from strength to strength. Age UK and e.on are committed to continuing to work together to create a society where all older people have warm homes to live in.
