Working together to build a better future for children in foster care

CBRE and Action for Children

Action for Children and CBRE are working together to build a better future for children in foster care. In just two years of partnership we have already achieved a partnership value of £1 million through corporate donations, employee fundraising and pro bono support.

Every 15 minutes a child is taken into care in England alone and one tenth of children in care have had three or more placements. This continual rejection and lack of belonging can have a significantly detrimental impact on young people’s mental health and future life chances. Action for Children and CBRE have developed a transformative partnership to tackle these issues and build a better future for children and young people in care.

“Our partnership with CBRE has been game changing for Action for Children, their investment has not only allowed us to introduce specialist support for children, young people and carers but also to think outside the box, be innovative and explore new ways to working or challenge the existing provisions of support to make a real, meaningful difference to the lives of children and young people in care who are so often forgotten.” Debbie Tomlinson, Head of Fostering, Action for Children
